Your photos are processed locally in your browser. We do not upload, sell, or use them for advertising or analytics.
Information we do not collect
Passport Photo maker does not require an account and does not collect names, email addresses, payment details, identity-document numbers, or the contents of your photos. We do not use advertising, analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party advertising SDKs.
Photo processing
When you select a photo, cropping, preview generation, quality checks, and JPEG export occur locally in your current browser or extension window. Your original photo and generated image are not transmitted to our servers and are not stored in extension storage. Closing the page or using the clear-photo control removes the in-page working reference. Files you download remain on your device until you delete them.
Optional location permission
The website and extension request location only after you choose the location recommendation feature and confirm the browser permission prompt. The location is used once, in memory, to suggest a country or region preset. It is not sent to a server, saved, used for profiling, or used to track you. You can decline permission and choose a country manually.
Network access and browser permissions
The browser extension requests only the geolocation permission. It does not request website-host access, tabs, storage, scripting, microphone, camera, or background-network permissions. The website loads its country rule file from this same site; it does not send your photo or location to a remote service.
Cookies and local browser data
We do not set advertising or analytics cookies. The browser may retain ordinary HTTP resources according to its own cache settings, but Passport Photo maker does not maintain an offline Service Worker cache. Browser caches do not contain your selected photo or location. You may clear ordinary site data at any time in your browser settings.
Children
Passport Photo maker is not directed to children under the age at which consent is required in their jurisdiction. Because we do not collect personal information through this product, we do not knowingly maintain personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect. Material changes to photo handling, location handling, permissions, or remote data processing will be reflected here before release.
